Kabul: The tension of Kuchi echoes nowadays in Presidential Palace. Vice President Karim Khalili did not attend the cabinet meeting last day, 14th July, protesting on Kuchis’ invasion of Behsud and Govt. stance, keeping mum. Last week rumors were spread that Khalili has resigned but later that came to be untrue.
Hazara leaders accuse Karzai of nationalism supporting Kuchis, the Pushtoon Taliban and Al-Qaeda backed terorrists who have invaded Behsud killing dozens including children and women. The Govt. has not taken any serious notice of the situation while the armed Kuchis are looting livestock and pastures of local vulnerable villagers.
Nation has been criticizing Khalili for being quite on Behsud massacre. The other day, a delegation of Hazara students of Kabul University called on Khalili discussing about Behsud. The students had critcized Govt. for backing Kuchis and they had asked Khalili what has he done in this regard. Khalili assured the students he would protest Karzai about the issue other than that he would step down.
